dc.description.abstract	Within a project aiming to improve the efficiency of the permanent staff of the Russian State Duma and the Federation Council a working group on information technology was established in which foreign and Russian experts analyzed the situation, defined strategies for improvement and presented an action plan for improvement. The organization of the project and the methods applied are presented.
